Illuminate your birth.

Birth Support

This is a sanctuary dedicated to providing you with the information, guidance, and steady support you need to feel confident and empowered during pregnancy, birth, and the transition into parenthood.

Here, care is intentional and paced. Questions are welcomed. Preparation is thoughtful. You are supported not only through the physical experience of birth, but through the emotional and nervous-system shifts that accompany it.

My role is to walk alongside you—offering presence, education, and advocacy—so you can make informed choices, feel held through birth, and move through this season with trust in yourself and your body.

Whether you are seeking full-spectrum birth support or intentional touchpoints along the way, this space is designed to meet you where you are and support you through the whole journey.

The Care Menu

Mother Blessing Ceremony

A Mother Blessing is an intentional, candlelit gathering designed to honor pregnancy as a rite of passage and to surround the mother-to-be with care, presence, and community.

Held in my private home studio, this 90-minute ceremony offers a quiet pause from the outside world—an opportunity to slow down, be witnessed, and receive support as the mother prepares for birth and the transition into motherhood.

  • A Mother Blessing is an intentional gathering centered on the emotional, spiritual, and embodied experience of the mother-to-be.

Unlike a traditional baby shower, which often focuses on gifts and logistics, a Mother Blessing is about presence, care, and community. Rooted in traditions from many cultures, it honors pregnancy and birth as a profound life transition.

Through meditation, shared presence, written or spoken blessings, and gentle ritual, the ceremony nurtures the nervous system, strengthens inner trust, and reminds the mother that she is not alone as she approaches birth.

  • Each Mother Blessing is thoughtfully held and guided by me from beginning to end, allowing the mother to simply arrive and receive.

    I support the process by:

    • Curating and holding the ceremonial container

    • Guiding meditation, circle flow, and ritual pacing

    • Creating a calm, grounded atmosphere through candlelight, altar setup, and tea

    • Offering gentle facilitation so the gathering feels supported, intentional, and easeful

I also assist with guest coordination. The mother simply shares the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of her invited guests (up to 8 women), and I will help extend the invitation and share all necessary details.

Working together

My doula care is movement-informed and ritual-rooted. I integrate prenatal yoga, yin yoga, breathwork, and intentional ritual within a private home yoga studio—supporting the body, nervous system, and emotional landscape of pregnancy and birth.

Working with me includes access to this intimate space, where prenatal yoga, yin yoga, breathwork, and Mother Blessings are offered as part of an integrated approach to birth support.

Throughout pregnancy, I offer education, preparation, and steady support so you feel informed and confident in your choices. During birth, I provide grounded presence and advocacy—reinforcing your preferences and supporting you and your family through the intensity of labor and transition.

This work is designed for mothers who value embodiment, presence, and thoughtful care, offering support that extends beyond birth into the early postpartum period.

I am a trained birth doula through Awakened Spirit Yoga, having studied under Stephanie Atunes and Julia Forest, with a focus on holistic, compassionate care.

I am supported by ongoing mentorship with Natalie Conoly, a doula based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We meet weekly for continued learning and guidance, and she is available for consultation as needed.

This work takes a village and I am grateful to offer care that is both deeply personal and well-supported.

FAQ

  • A doula offers non-medical guidance and support for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. They empower women and couples to make informed decisions, providing emotional and physical assistance throughout the process. Rooted in ancient traditions, doulas have been supporting women during childbirth for centuries across various cultures.

    • As a doula, I am your and your partner's support person during pregnancy, labour and post-birth so you can experience an empowered birth. Every pregnancy and birth is different.

    • It is well known that women who feel supported and safe in labour are more likely to have better outcomes and a smoother recovery. For centuries and in most cultures, women are assisted by a doula, who knows the process of labour and what is required to keep the woman safe and calm so she can do the deep work of birthing her baby.

  • Midwife:

    • A healthcare professional providing medical care

    • Can conduct medical assessments and procedures

    Doula:

    • A non-medical support person offering physical, emotional and informational support

    • Doulas are not licensed healthcare providers and do not perform medical procedures. Instead, they provide support such as massage, breathing techniques, and emotional reassurance to help women cope with the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy and childbirth.

    • Focuses on empowering mothers to make informed decisions and ensure a positive birthing experience

Most midwives and hospitals encourage the presence of a doula, as it offers more support for the birthing mother and allows for the medical team to attend to their duties of admin work and looking after other birthing women.

  • A doula does not replace a medical care provider but instead, works alongside to compliment the care provided to the mother by providing all the essential information you need to feel confident and informed. While midwives and doulas have different roles, they can work together to provide comprehensive support to pregnant women. Women can choose to work with both a midwife and a doula to receive medical care and emotional support during their pregnancy and childbirth journey.
